How to Re-Evaluate Your Postcard Marketing Campaign
August 24, 2009
Your postcard marketing campaign may not always be spot on, and may require a few edits here and there. If you aren’t receiving the results you had anticipated, it may be time to re-evaluate. That way, the next go around you’ll be seeing the effective campaign you were striving for in the first place. My Postcard Printing has some tips about re-evaluating your postcard marketing campaign below.
Review Your Postcard Marketing Campaign
Re-Evaluate Your Target Audience
Take a second look at your targeted mailing list and assess if these addresses really can use your products or services. You may want to refresh your mailing list with a service that identifies “change-of-address”, which will help reduce undeliverable mail. You can even rent a mailing list, which is a service My Postcard Printing offers.
Limit Your Subject
Simplify your postcard marketing campaign; focus on fulfilling one goal instead of many. Make your postcard’s message direct and to the point. You can advertise a new product, or inform your recipient of a new service. Remember to include your contact information in case your potential client wants to know more.
Avoid Assumptions
Do not assume that your target audience has the same level of knowledge as you do. Write your marketing postcard’s copy in layman’s terms so your message can be easily understood. Explain the important information your potential customers need to know about your products or services.
